Why are some places cheaper than others? The Difference:
This IS your SKIN, we are talking about. :) In choosing the right skincare professional there are many factors that come into play. Be confident and know what brands are being used on you before you book an appointment. Location, environment, appearance of the spa, the menu, quality of treatments, expensive professional products or high quality equipment can affect the cost of your facial. Take this into consideration, the knowledge, time & effort in the facial procedure, also in researching products, the aesthetician having to stay up to date with new technologies, procedures & ingredient knowledge through seminars & continuing education and the production & start up cost to bring the clients the best, most detailed protocol for effective results. For a facial that may only cost you $60-$150, but may cost the owner up to $50,000 to $200,00 and is lucky if he recovers the money back in a timely manner. Would you rather get effective treatments with results or would you yourself rather spend the thousands on all the products & equipments and do it yourself, plus spend the time having to research everything from equipment, to best product ingredients, & additionally operating costs. That's why I'm here to save you time & money. The bottom line is, if you're paying a really cheap price (that seems to be the regular price of the business's facial cost), you're just going to get a good wash and that's it. It is the difference between a good superficial wash and a deep cleansing, high-quality, meticulous and extensive protocol that will make the difference.
